Run away results with a Mobile Conquesting campaign for this Half Marathon Race

A non-profit sponsored a half marathon race as a fund raiser and tourism attraction. They were looking to attract people to their downtown and to register for the race.
Through our hyper-targeted mobile exchanges, we created a Mobile Conquesting strategy, which targeted Fitness Enthusiasts (interested in fitness centers, gyms, weight loss, health food stores) within a larger city that neighbors the area. They utilized our expandable ad format which allowed people to tap the banner ad and then view a full page ad on their mobile device. Users could then click on a button to view accommodation options or click to register for the race.
The ad campaign had an overall Click-Through-Rate (CTR) of 1.28% (more than 18x the national CTR average), and the conversion rate (those clicking on one of the Call-To-Action buttons) was 3.0%!
